Dave Chappelle is still wondering where his invite to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding went.

The Grammy winner, 36, and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, also 36, tied the knot at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3. The same day, the 52-year-old comedian appeared on CNN's Independence Eve Live with Anderson & Andy: Celebrating 250 special, where he joked about not getting an invite to the couple's star-studded nuptials.

After co-host Andy Cohen asked Chappelle if he interacted with Kelce when the NFL star brought his pals to the comedian's show during his bachelor weekend in California, Chappelle confirmed that they did — but said he didn't get an invitation to the main event.

“Well, of course I did,” he said of interacting with Kelce, who was seen in footage obtained by TMZ bringing his bachelor party to Chappelle's San Diego show.

“I was shocked. I had never seen anything like that: a whoreless bachelor party,” the comedian added during the live CNN special, drawing laughs from the crowd. “Whatever makes you happy, Travis.”

Chappelle then turned his attention to Kelce's wedding to Swift, adding, “I heard he was getting married at Madison Square Garden. You would think, you know what I mean, I could have got an invite, but I didn't make the 15,000 closest friends.”

The guest list for the couple's MSG wedding included Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Dakota Johnson, Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann, Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn, the Haim sisters, Ellie Goulding, Benson Boone, Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, The Chicks, Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Hugh Grant, Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner, Zoë Kravitz, Jennifer Lopez, Jason Sudeikis, Ethan Hawke, Jimmy Fallon, and Tommy Hilfiger. The couple's friend Adam Sandlerofficiated the ceremony.

Rather than the traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen, Swift's brother Austin served as the musician's man of honor and Travis's brother and New Heights podcast co-host, Jason Kelce, his best man, Swift's rep confirmed to PEOPLE.

The pair did appear to have bachelor and bachelorette parties ahead of the ceremony, as they were each spotted celebrating with close friends in late June.

On June 17, Kelce spent a night out in West Hollywood with Jason, 38, former Chiefs teammate Ross Travis, 33, and comedian Druski, 31. A few days later, the groom-to-be and his friends also partied at the Chris Lake concert at the Los Angeles State Historic Park. He even gave his fiancée a sweet shoutout on stage. On June 21, Kelce and his party watched a NASCAR race at Naval Base Coronado in San Diego before attending Chappelle's show.

Swift, meanwhile, appeared to spend a girls' weekend in Rhode Island, where her longtime friend Abigail Anderson and several other friends were spotted at the Grammy winner's Watch Hill mansion, per TMZ.

Kelce and Swift first announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post shared on Aug. 26, 2025. "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨," Swift wrote in the caption of the post, which included several photos from their enchanting garden proposal.
