DC’s Adria Arjona admits she’s “scared” of slipping up about her mysterious secret Man of Tomorrow role. The actress revealed how her wrap celebration dinner with co-stars nearly led to some dangerous close calls.

Adria Arjona’s latest on her secret Man of Tomorrow

Adria Arjona spoke to ScreenRant about her mystery role in James Gunn’s Man of Tomorrow. The actress confirmed she has filmed her scenes for the Superman sequel. She also revealed details about celebrating the wrap with her co-stars.

During ScreenRant’s Coffee Chats series, Arjona addressed the challenge of keeping her character secret. She admitted the balancing act between honesty and protecting the audience remains difficult. “I don’t want to lie, but I also want to protect the audience’s experience,” Arjona said. She added that navigating secrecy “is a little dance that I’m learning to navigate, and it’s hard.”

When asked for a context-free spoiler, Arjona nearly slipped but held firm. “I just thought of three, but I just got into the DC universe,” she explained. She then added, “I really don’t want to get fired, so I’m gonna keep my mouth shut.” Arjona also confessed she “almost got busted” earlier in the interview cycle.

Arjona confirmed she wrapped filming and shared warm memories of the celebration. “We had a nice, little dinner to celebrate,” she recalled fondly. “David was there, and Nick was there.” She expressed gratitude that filming coincided with the overall production wrapping up. “I was just happy that it happened as the movie was wrapping up,” she continued. She noted the dinner let the cast “celebrate the moment, celebrate the movie, and celebrate the reunion with James and Peter.”

Speculation about Arjona’s role has swirled since her casting announcement. Major trade outlets reported conflicting details, initially pointing to DC’s Maxima. However, many fans believe she could portray Wonder Woman in the sequel. Gal Gadot recently confirmed she will not return as the iconic heroine. Man of Tomorrow opens on July 9, 2027.
