Disneyland to Offer $71 Tickets for Certain Guests — Everything to Know

Anaheim residents can purchase discounted Disneyland tickets starting at $71 with proof of residency in select zip codes
The promotion coincides with Disneyland’s 71st anniversary and includes access to Halloween festivities starting Aug. 21
A $59 evening ticket option is also available for select dates at Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park
For a limited time, Disneyland Resort is inviting its neighbors to enjoy the parks at a special discounted rate.
Beginning July 16, local Anaheim, Calif., residents will be able to purchase one-day park tickets for as low as $71. The promotion runs through Oct. 8, meaning neighbors will have the chance to enjoy the resort’s Halloween festivities when they begin on Aug. 21.
Guests ages 10 and older can purchase one-day, one-park tickets for $71, but can upgrade to a one-day park hopper ticket for $104. Those ages 3 to 9 qualify for both one-day, one-park tickets and one-day park hopper tickets for just $50.

Before purchasing the special discounted tickets, Disney recommends ensuring park reservations are available for the dates guests want to visit, as availability is subject to change.
The offer is only valid for Anaheim residents within zip codes 92801 through 92809, 92812, 92814 through 92817, 92825, 92850 and 92899. Proof of eligible residency, including a valid government-issued photo ID, is required for purchase and admission. Up to eight tickets may be purchased per day.

The $71 price point is seemingly a nod to the park’s upcoming milestone celebration. On July 17, one day after the limited time sale begins, the resort will celebrate its 71st anniversary.
This isn’t the only magical ticket deal the park plans to offer. Beginning on July 12, guests can purchase a $59 evening ticket to enjoy either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park at night with a park reservation. The specialty admission will be available for use on Sundays through Wednesdays until Aug. 5.

At Disneyland Park, guests can enter beginning at 7 p.m. through park close, which is generally around midnight. Over at Disney California Adventure Park, evening tickets are valid from 5 p.m. until park close, which is typically 10 p.m.
Guests planning to take advantage of Disneyland’s upcoming ticket sales can enjoy a variety of new attractions and experiences that debuted earlier this year.
At Disneyland Park’s Galaxy’s Edge, the Star Wars-themed land, beloved characters — like Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo and more — are now roaming the land as the timeline has expanded to include the original trilogy and beyond.
On May 22, a new mission debuted at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run that celebrates the release of Lucasfilm’sStar Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. The new adventure, led by the film’s titular characters, takes guests to Bespin, Coruscant or the wreckage of the second Death Star above Endor.

Last week, over at Disney California Adventure Park, a new version of Soarin’ premiered. The attraction, Soarin’ Across America, honors the “beauty and wonder” of the U.S. and comes as the resort celebrates the country’s 250th birthday.
