Dutton Ranch producer Christina Alexandra Voros is commenting on the exit of creator Chad Feehan.

Feehan's departure was reported ahead of the series premiere.

The showrunner allegedly clashed with the series' stars.

The Dutton Ranch team is weighing in on moving on without its creator.

Last month, ahead of the Yellowstone spinoff's May 15 premiere, Entertainment Weekly confirmed that creator and showrunner Chad Feehan will not return should there be a season 2. Dutton Ranch producer Christina Alexandra Voros, who directed the first two episodes, is now reacting to her colleague's departure.

"I think Chad did an exceptional job building a world of adversaries for Rip (Cole Hauser) and Beth (Kelly Reilly) to come up against in this new chapter of their lives," she told ScreenRant. "Any speculation about a season 2 is beyond my knowledge. And I'm grateful to him and his team for creating a world for these characters to move into."

Dutton Ranch is the most anticipated show to arrive in the ever-expanding world of Yellowstone, given its focus on Hauser's Rip Wheeler and Reilly's Beth Dutton, whose relationship became the heart of the flagship series.

Sources told Puck, which first reported Feehan's exit, that the creator "clashed on set” with Hauser and Reilly, who are also executive producers on the project. Additionally, Puck insiders shared that Yellowstone mastermind and overseer Taylor Sheridan wasn't happy with Feehan's work on season 1. Feehan previously collaborated with Sheridan and Paramount on the David Oyelowo-led series Lawmen: Bass Reeves.

Dutton Ranch continues Sheridan's run of adding A-list actors to his universe, with Annette Bening and Ed Harris joining Hauser and Reilly. Last week's series premiere comes on the heels of the huge success of the first Yellowstone spinoff sequel, Marshals. The CBS hit follows Beth's brother Kayce (Luke Grimes) and has already been greenlit for a second season.

New episodes of Dutton Ranch premiere Fridays on Paramount+.
