Rylee, 3, was inspired to get the same haircut after watching Today with her grandfather every morning

Rylee’s mom shared the story on TikTok after the toddler got a blunt bob with bangs to match Jenna’s style

Jenna Bush Hager got a bob. So naturally, Alexa Miller's daughter wanted to get a bob.

When the 44-year-old host of Today with Jenna & Sheinelle debuted her bob last June, Rylee, 3, began begging her mom to get her hair cut just like Jenna.

"Rylee has been watching the Today show with my dad, her PawPaw," explained Miller to Today. "My parents have babysat for her since she was 2 months old. She and her PawPaw watch the show every morning."

Miller, who lives in Petersburg, Indiana, told the outlet that she also grew up watching the show with her parents. She added that it was just a few months ago when Rylee's grandmother asked her if she wanted a haircut.

"Rylee said, 'I want my hair cut like Jenna Bush's,' " Miller remembered. "She knew her name. She really loves Jenna."

Back in June, Jenna cut her hair into a bob live while taping the show after expressing her admiration for Leslie Bibb's hairstyle in The White Lotus. Celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan then came onto the show to cut Jenna's hair on television.

Rylee ended up getting her hair cut just like Jenna's, with Miller sharing the story on her TikTok. Rylee's new 'do featured a blunt bob with straight-across bangs, which the toddler added herself.

"She had a little hiccup. She tried to cut her own hair," said her mom. Rylee got bangs to "correct the problem."

Rylee loves her new haircut, telling her mom that she looks "just like Jenna!" And similar to the Today host, Rylee loves to read and has a bubbly personality.

"She's very people-y and friendly," said Miller. "And she doesn't know a stranger."
