Guy posted a heartfelt tribute to Brad Arnold, after the 3 Doors Down singer died on Feb. 7

Guy Fieri is mourning the loss of his friend Brad Arnold.

The lead singer of 3 Doors Down, known for songs like “Kryptonite,” "When I'm Gone" and "Here Without You," died at the age of 47 on Saturday, Feb. 7.

“Heartbreaking to lose a great friend and someone that shared so much incredible talent,” Fieri wrote the same day.

“My friend Brad was the next level and had so much appreciation for music, fans and family,” he continued.

“RIP BA,” the Food Network star concluded the tribute, which included two photos of the celebrity chef with the rocker, adding, “Namaste.”

Arnold announced he had stage four kidney cancer in May 2025.

"With his beloved wife Jennifer and his family by his side, he passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, in his sleep after his courageous battle with cancer," 3 Doors Down wrote in an Instagram post, referring to Arnold's spouse, Jennifer Sanderford.

The band called Arnold "a founding member, vocalist and original drummer of 3 Doors Down," and praised him for "[redefining] mainstream rock music, blending post-grunge accessibility with emotionally direct songwriting and lyrical themes that resonated with everyday listeners."

"Brad's songwriting became a cultural touchstone for a generation, producing some of the most enduring hits of the 2000s, including the band's breakout hit, 'Kryptonite,' which he wrote in his math class when he was just 15 years old," the post continued. "His music reverberated far beyond the stage, creating moments of connection, joy, faith, and shared experiences that will live on long after the stages he performed on."

3 Doors Down also expressed admiration for Arnold’s “kindness, humor and generosity,” which they said “touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.”

“Those closest to him will remember not only his talent, but his warmth, humility, faith and deep love for his family and friends," the post added.
