How old do you have to be to buy a Mega Millions ticket?

You have to be old enough to gamble in your state legally.

In a majority of states, you have to be 18 or older to purchase a lottery ticket. However, in the following states, you have to be a bit older to buy or redeem lottery tickets:

Arizona: 21 years old, according to the Arizona Lottery.

Louisiana: 21 years old, according to the Louisiana Lottery.

Nebraska: 19 years old, according to the Nebraska Lottery.
