The Bold and the Beautiful star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood tells EW about the one storyline she wish was hers.
"When Katherine Kelly Lang, before I was on the show, had that iconic moment with her getting married on horseback. I go, 'I want that moment,'" Wood shares.
Wood has portrayed the forthright and independent Steffy Forrester on the CBS soap since 2008.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood has gotten to portray just about everything a human being can go through across her 18 years on The Bold and the Beautiful. But there's still one pre-Steffy Forrester storyline that makes her say, "I want that moment."
The star behind the headstrong scion of the Forrester dynasty tells Entertainment Weekly that the one moment that gives her B&B envy happened before her tenure began in 2008.
"When Katherine Kelly Lang, before I was on the show, had that iconic moment with her getting married on horseback. I go, 'I want that moment,'" Wood says, breaking into a laugh. "Yeah, I want a white horse."

Who could forget the sun-kissed wedding between Lang's Brooke Logan and Ronn Moss' (and then Thorsten Kaye's) Ridge Forrester? Honestly, even the most devoted B&B fan might, given the perpetually on-again, off-again couple have been married and split up no less than eight times.
But firsts always hold a special place in people's hearts. Lang herself named Brooke and Ridge's first time walking the aisle as a particular highlight in 2022. "I still remember the first wedding that I had to Ridge on the beach, riding a horse down," she remembered.

"Trotting in and getting off with this, it was kind of like a Cinderella dress. It was just very romantic and very much like Cinderella. So, I loved that dress. I was very partial to that dress, I think, because it was Brooke's first wedding," Lang said, humorously adding, "Besides that there were so many, I can't even remember."
Brooke and Ridge (Bridge, as their fans call the couple) shared their first "I do" in 1994. Brooke indeed arrived on horseback at the nuptials dramatically staged on the sandy shores of Point Dume, Calif. The two were wed between towering sand castles, both dressed in sparkling white, in front of all their friends.
Given future weddings turned out to be mere ruses to thwart unfortunate paternity announcements (1998), or clandestine kidnapping plots (2003), or indefinitely postponed due to (fake) fainting spells (2014), their unblemished first certainly stands out.

Steffy herself has been married five times, and several of her weddings lived up to the high drama bar set by Bridge. One example? When Steffy zip-lined to the altar during her wedding to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) in 2017. "What can I say? Steffy is an adrenaline junkie," she told TV Insider at the time. "She's not about to show up at her wedding like a normal bride. She'll ultimately have her princess moment, but she always wants to push the envelope by doing something dangerous—as if there's not enough drama in her life already."
