Jason and Travis Kelce gave their candid reaction to their mom Donna Kelce's appearance on The Traitors on the Wednesday, Jan. 14 episode of their podcast, New Heights
The brothers said they were surprised that their mom could be so "deceitful and devious"
Donna was revealed to be the first "secret Traitor" in episode 3
Jason and Travis Kelce were impressed and a little intimidated by their mom, Donna Kelce’s, turn on The Traitors.
The athletes discussed Donna’s short-lived time on the Peacock show during the Wednesday, Jan. 14 episode of their New Heights podcast.
“I thought she did fantastic,” Jason, 38, said of Donna, 73. “Like, I know she was eliminated, but I think it's really hard to go into those shows as, like, an outsider that you become, like, an easy target to try and maneuver in that show.”
The retired NFL star added, “I loved watching her in it. She was way more deceitful and devious than I thought Mom could ever be, which was surprising.”

Travis, 36, agreed, noting, “She stood her ground at the round table.”
“I was so proud of her, man,” Travis added. “She looked like she was having a blast, enjoying it all… it was just so cool to see her in this moment.”
Noting that Donna was the first-ever “secret Traitor,” Travis took a moment to thank comedian and actor Ron Funches for “sticking by her and being kind to her,” acknowledging that Funches “probably felt a certain way after he found out she was the secret Traitor.”

Travis was particularly proud of Donna “giving the world a beautiful message” with her appearance on the reality competition show about “being fortunate enough to do these things at her age and where she is in life.”

Donna’s time on the show was short-lived as she was banished after the roundtable vote in episode 3, confirming that she was the show's first-ever secret Traitor.
After being voted out, Donna said "playing a Traitor was tough, but I gave it my best shot."
"This has been a dream come true," she said through tears. "These are happy tears that I get to do this at this point in my life. It’s just the joy of being in the game."
Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, recently told PEOPLE that Donna gave the family very little insight into how her appearance on the show played out.
"She did not tell us much at all, which I respect, I respect," Kylie shared earlier this week. "You've got to keep the mystery alive.”
