Speaking to the New York Post, Biggs said of stepping back into the American Pie world: “I think it would be so much fun"

The first American Pie film premiered in 1999, with three sequels following (the most recent of the bunch was American Reunion in 2012)

Jason Biggs is not shutting down the idea of another American Pie film.

Speaking to the New York Post, the 47-year-old actor said, “There’s always talks,” when asked about the potential for an American Pie 5.

“There’s always rumblings," he added. "I can tell you that I’d love to get back with everybody and do another one if it’s the right story.”

The first American Pie film premiered in 1999. In the years that followed, three additional sequels were made, with the most recent of the bunch being American Reunion in 2012. Five movies also came from a spinoff, direct-to-video film series, titled American Pie Presents.

Speaking to the Post, Biggs said of stepping back into the American Pie world: “I think it would be so much fun. I love playing that character. I love working with those guys and gals. Everybody is just — it’s family, you know? So I’d love to do it. And honestly, I feel like enough people ask and there’s enough fans. Nostalgia is big right now.”

In a 2025 conversation with PEOPLE, the actor said the film – in which he played the breakout role of Jim Levenstein a high school senior focused on trying to lose his virginity — remains close to his heart.

Speaking of American Pie memorabilia, Biggs said, "Most of it's in storage. But I kept as much as I could. I have all the scripts and all that stuff. I have a lot of the publicity press things that went out, tie-ins and stuff, and that kind of stuff. But in terms of props from the set, yeah, I have my Band Camp shirt that I cannot fit into."

Biggs got to revisit the American Pie world in 2025 an episode of Dinner and a Movie with he and his wife Jenny Mollen.

The special episode featured his former costars Alyson Hannigan, Mena Suvari, Chris Klein and Shannon Elizabeth.

In 2019, the core cast reunited 20 years after the film premiered for an interview with Entertainment Tonight, where Hannigan, who played band geek Michelle Flaherty, disclosed how fans still approach her about the infamous scene. Hannigan is responsible for the sexually-explicit “this one time at band camp…” line.

“Yeah, they still do that 20 years later,” Hannigan, now 51, said. “Which was fine before I had children, but now I’d really like them to just be like, oh I recognize you, wink wink. Luckily they don’t finish the sentence, but I stand there terrified that they will.”
