Jason Oppenheim is revealing his thoughts on the Selling Sunset season 10 cast shakeup after Netflix confirmed Christine Quinn and Heather Rae El Moussa were returning
After season 9, Chrishell Stause said she was officially leaving the real estate docuseries after being a series regular since season 1
Oppenheim teased “insane” real estate listings coming next season, including one with a nearly $100 million price tag
Jason Oppenheim is revealing his thoughts on the Selling Sunset cast shakeup after the hit real estate docuseries was officially renewed for a 10th season.
Following the news that original cast members Christine Quinn and Heather Rae El Moussa would be rejoining the Netflix series next season, the Oppenheim Group president said he's looking forward to this season more than any of the previous ones.
“I love those two. I love having some OGs back,” Oppenheim told TMZ of Quinn and El Moussa in an interview published on Monday, May 11. “I think this season's going to be awesome. I'm really, honestly, looking forward to it.”
The real estate mogul added that he “wanted” the pair to come back on the show: “Everyone loves Heather, and Christine was great for the show. She was one of the reasons that this show did so well and blew up. She deserves a lot of credit for that, and I think she's in a better place.”

El Moussa and Quinn's return comes after Chrishell Stause, who had been a series regular since the show first premiered in 2019, revealed she was officially leaving the show after nine seasons.
Oppenheim also shed some light on where he stands with Stause, whom he previously dated back in 2021.
“I've talked to Chrishell but not about the show — just about real estate and other things,” he told TMZ. “I'll leave that between us, but we're good. I don't want to speak for her, but we don't really talk about Selling Sunset if we do talk, and we don't talk that much.”
Oppenheim also teased some “insane” real estate viewers can look forward to next season, with one listing boasting a price tag of nearly $100 million.

“I think I'm more excited about this season than probably any season ever,” he shared, adding, “The first few seasons I was anxious and nervous, and then I was stressed the last few seasons.”
While Netflix has not announced a premiere date for season 10 yet, Oppenheim said fans will get their dose of drama when it eventually debuts, as there “always seems to be” tension between the L.A. agents.

While bombshells tend to drop every season of Selling Sunset, El Moussa previously told PEOPLE that she's come a long way since she left the show after season 7 — and fans should expect to see a different version of her in season 10.
“Being part of Selling Sunset the first time around gave me so much. It's where people first really got to know me, and I felt like there was more of my story to tell. The version of me returning is very different from the one who left,” she told PEOPLE in April.

Since stepping away from the series, El Moussa has welcomed her now-3-year-old son Tristan with husband Tarek El Moussa, and she also launched her own beauty line, HRE Beauty.
“I'm coming back as a wife, a mom, a beauty founder and still bringing that same original spirit with me," she added. "The one that was about ambition and friendship and celebrating women, not tearing them down. I think that's what people fell in love with in the beginning, and I think there's real appetite for that again."
