Jaxson Dart’s girlfriend, Marissa Ayers, wrote an emotional tribute to the New York Giants quarterback days after he suffered a season-ending injury
The model promised to support the athlete through surgery, recovery and rehabilitation
Dart reportedly injured his MCL, PCL and meniscus, though his ACL remains intact

The model, 23, shared a heartfelt tribute to her New York Giants boyfriend, also 23, days after the quarterback suffered a season-ending left knee injury during the first drive of his team’s game against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday, Sept. 21.
“It has been an emotional few days. My sweet Jax- Your unconditional love and drive for this sport will push you through this temporary pain being away from it. We now place full trust in God to wrap His arms around you to heal your body and lift your spirits,” she wrote in her caption on TikTok Saturday, Sept. 26.

“The road to recovery begins, and I promise to keep you covered in so much love and prayer though it all. Jax you are the most determined and resilient person I know. You inspire me to show up for myself- my dreams and goals even when it’s difficult,” Ayers continued.
“So I promise to remind you of that strength you have instilled in me every single day. There is not a doubt in my mind you will come back even stronger than before,” she added. “You can do everything you set your mind to- I’ve seen it firsthand, and I’ll be here to hold your hand each step of the way.”
Ayers concluded, “I love you. @Darty.”
“Prayers for my jax to get back on his field & back to dancing with me 🫶🏻,” she wrote over a PDA-filled clip of herself spinning, twirling and laughing with Dart in front of a tropical skyline at dusk.

Ayers and Dart first sparked romance rumors in October 2025 when they were spotted at a Halloween party together. Speculation heightened after the model was photographed with the player’s mom, Kara Dart, during his game against the New England Patriots that December.

In January, Ayers — a social media influencer and ring girl — confirmed their relationship with a PDA-filled Instagram dump. The couple made their red carpet debut at the 2026 NFL Honors in February.

This year marks Dart’s second season as the Giants’ starting quarterback after the team selected him in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft out of Ole Miss. He impressed during his rookie campaign, taking over as QB1 from Russell Wilson in Week 4 and leading the Giants to four wins last season.

On Sept. 21, Dart suffered his knee injury in the first quarter of the Monday Night Football matchup. He was sandwiched when Rams linebacker Byron Young hit him on his right side and linebacker Josaiah Stewart pushed him on the other.
Dart landed hard on the turf and went to the medical tent for evaluation before walking to the locker room with a limp. He tried to get back into the game in the first half despite the injury, requiring the Giants coaches to hold him back.
On Sept. 23, Adam Schefter reported that Dart suffered damage to his MCL, PCL and meniscus, per sources. “The meniscus is the main issue,” the ESPN insider noted on X.
Ian Rapoport reported soon after that Dart is expected to have knee surgery that will end his season. “Dart has been soliciting opinions on the injury. And the ACL is intact. But surgery is coming,” the ESPN and NFL insider wrote on X.
