While daytime TV is losing a couple of beloved hosts, Jennifer Hudson is staying put.
The Jennifer Hudson Show was recently renewed for a fifth season, producer Telepictures revealed last month — shortly after two other talk shows, The Kelly Clarkson Show and Sherri Shepherd's Sherri, announced their respective endings.
Sherri was canceled after four seasons in early February, while Kelly Clarkson announced her show will end after seven seasons in a statement issued around the same time.

Does Hudson, 44, feel her role as a daytime TV host takes on more weight now? "I haven't had much time to think about it, to be honest," the EGOT winner tells PEOPLE.
"They are amazing, both Kelly and Sherri, and we're all in this together," adds Hudson, who's currently partnering with Credit One Bank to launch its new Cards on the Table game and help players learn about financial responsibility.
She adds of Clarkson, 43, and Shepherd, "I just want to continue to make them proud and cheer them on whatever they decide to do in the future."

Following the cancellation of Sherri, Shepherd revealed during a recent episode that she's "not ready to throw in the towel on this show just yet."
"We're gonna be airing episodes all though the fall. And we're going to continue to fight to keep this show alive in some way, shape or form," she added. "If anybody knows me, they know I'm a fighter. I don't know exactly what it's going to look like, but I promise, I am going to continue to spread joy."

Season 5 of The Jennifer Hudson Show will feature many more celebrities walking down the viral Spirit Tunnel on their way to the stage. Hudson has a few ideas for who she'd like to see visit to the set and dance down the Spirit Tunnel.
"I've been blessed to have a lot of great guests come to the show," she says. "I would love to see Barack Obama come through the Spirit Tunnel. I would love to see Denzel Washington, Halle Berry. I want to say Cher, but she's already been to the show."
Hudson continues, "I'm a huge fan of Sean Penn, too. I would love to have Sean Penn on the show."
