Joe Jonas is giving fans a glimpse into his relationship with Tatiana Gabriela.

During the Thursday, July 2 episode of the Hey Jonas! podcast, the singer opened up about a fan encounter that took place during a recent date.

"So we're sitting there, me and Tati," said Joe, 36, using a nickname for his 28-year-old model girlfriend.

“We're having a nice glass of orange wine. Actually, I was having a Guinness. She was having an orange wine, and we were sharing a charcuterie board. It was actually just a pickle board," he continued.

Then, Joe said he was discussing something serious with brother Nick Jonas on FaceTime when a fan came up to their table and asked for a picture.

In that moment, he said no because he was on the phone — but then looked for the fan afterward.

"I turned around, and I was like, ‘Excuse me, let's get that picture now,' ” he continued. “And she goes, ‘What?' … She's like, ‘I didn't ask you for a picture.' I could have sworn it was the same person. So I just looked at a random person and I was like, ‘Hey, want to get that picture now?' ”

The singer's comments come months after he went Instagram official with Gabriela in April, sharing photos from a trip to Puerto Rico together.

In January, PEOPLE reported that the pair were a couple and had been since late summer 2025.

"They were spotted at low-key coffee dates in Los Angeles," a source told PEOPLE at the time, adding, "They seem to have gotten more serious since then and have been hanging out in several cities, including New York and Miami."

Their romance comes after his split from Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner, with whom he shares daughters Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3. Their divorce was finalized in 2024.

Jonas dated a bit after the divorce, the source said, but his relationship with Gabriela "seems different."

"They are clearly getting along, have fun and more importantly, he trusts her around his kids," he said.
