The Los Angeles Rams quarterback, 38, and his wife, 37, stepped out in style for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, July 3.

The pair were photographed holding hands in coordinating formal looks as they left their hotel en route to the iconic arena. Matthew wore a dapper tuxedo featuring a green jacket with black lapels, paired with slim-fitting black trousers, a white shirt and a black bow tie. His wife complemented him in a mint green dress with ruching at the waist and silver platform sandals.

Other notable guests who were spotted making their way to Swift and Kelce's celebration on Friday afternoon include Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Lena Dunham, Dakota Johnson, Mariska Hargitay and husband Peter Hermann, Ellie Goulding, Charissa Thompson and boyfriend Steve Cundari, Jenny Han, and Abby Wambach and wife Glennon Doyle.

Multiple sources told PEOPLE that the dress code for the wedding is black tie. Guests also have to adhere to a no-phones policy, an insider told PEOPLE. "Guests have been told there will be a phone check upon arrival," the insider said.

Matthew and Kelce have overlapping social circles largely through the NFL. Once Kelce and Swift, both 36, began dating in 2023 and the "Opalite" singer started attending the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's games, Kelly defended Swift against criticism over her appearances.

She said the attention wasn't Swift's fault and that she understood why the NFL focused on her as "a good business decision" for viewership, explaining on her The Morning After podcast in October 2024, "Can she do anything about that? No, she can’t."

In 2024, Matthew and Kelly dressed up as Kelce and Swift for Halloween, posing in identical Tayvis' US Open final outfits. Meanwhile, their four daughters — 9-year-old twins Sawyer and Chandler, 7-year-old Hunter and 6-year-old Tyler — wore costumes inspired by different Swift eras, reflecting their admiration for the singer-songwriter.

Swift and Kelce's wedding celebration comes after they kicked off the weekend festivities with a rehearsal dinner at Madison Square Garden on Thursday evening, July 2. They welcomed roughly 100 guests for the occasion, including. Dunham, Thompson, Selena Gomez, Jack Antonoff, Erin Andrews, Greg Olsen, Aric Jones and Abigail Anderson.

Guests were seen leaving the event with gifts in monogrammed velvet boxes.
