Kim Kardashian's nephew played a special role at her son's birthday party.
On Thursday, May 14, the SKIMS co-founder shared a series of photos and videos on her Instagram Stories from her son Psalm's 7th birthday party, which was Pokémon-themed.
In one video, Kardashian appeared alongside a costume Pikachu — who ended up being her 16-year-old nephew, Mason.
"Give me a hug, Pikachu," Kardashian said in the video. The two then hugged amidst a background of hanging Pokéballs.
"Mason as pikachu 😂," she wrote over the photo.

Kardashian shares her four kids — Psalm, Chicago, 8, Saint, 10, and North, 12 — with ex Kanye West. Mason is the son of Kourtney Kardashian Barker and her ex Scott Disick.

Kardashian Barker is also mom to daughter Penelope and son Reign, whom she shares with Disick, as well as son Rocky, whom she shares with husband Travis Barker.
In January 2025, Scott appeared on the first episode of Khloé Kardashian's podcast Khloé in Wonder Land and shared that his son Mason has started to become interested in girls. Disick said that while he's supportive, he does have a few ground rules that Mason has to abide by.
“Mason especially, if he’s going through something, you know, I talk to him about my life. Like mistakes that I did. Like here’s what I’ve done and what’s worked for me, what hasn’t worked for me," Disick began.
"Even recently, he’s starting to really like girls. And obviously, girls like him," he continued. "I just said, you know it’s like, you can do whatever you want, just don’t lie and don’t manipulate any girls."
"If a girl tells you she wants to maybe do something with you and hook up or whatever, if she knows that you’re not in a relationship with her, don’t tell her you are just to get something out of her. And he’s like, ‘No, I know, I get it.'"
"And I hear him on the phone, he’s like, ‘We can but we’re friends.’ And he tells them straight up. Because that’s where it’s f--ked up," the dad of three said.
