Alexia is Luciana’s daughter from her marriage to ex-husband Arbello Barroso. Alexia met stepdad Matt in 2003, after her mother started dating the actor. (Matt and Luciana eventually wed in 2005.)

According to Damon, he will have virtually no downtime ahead of the movie’s worldwide premiere next month.

ā€œMy decompression already happened,ā€ he tells PEOPLE with a laugh. ā€œBut we're going to Europe, we're going to do premieres in Mumbai, Beijing and Seoul. It’s a big push.ā€

ā€œI'll bring my family for a lot of it, so they can see some of these places,ā€ adds Damon, who recently launched a new initiative, Get Blue, with his nonprofit, Water.org.

The Odyssey hits theaters on July 17.
