Megan Moroney is a new global ambassador for Revlon

The country star blends authenticity and modern glamour in her debut for the brand’s “Be Unforgettable” campaign

Moroney opens up about the “surreal” experience to PEOPLE, as well as the special message behind the campaign

Megan Moroney knows how to capture a feeling. Whether she’s singing about heartbreak, hope, or the messy middle in between, her music always feels like a page torn straight from her diary. Now, she’s bringing that same unfiltered energy to a very different kind of stage: one with bright lights, beauty products and a legacy brand ready for its next chapter.

Moroney has officially stepped into the spotlight as one of the faces of Revlon’s new “Be Unforgettable” campaign, and if you ask her, the experience hasn’t quite sunk in yet.

“Being on set for this felt really fun and a little surreal at the same time,” she tells PEOPLE exclusively. “There were definitely moments where I had to step back and be like, ‘Wow, this is actually happening.’ It just felt like such a special experience from start to finish.”

Her sense of wonder seems fitting for an artist whose rise has been anything but ordinary. Over the past few years, Moroney has gone from sorority girl to promising singer-songwriter to one of country music’s most talked-about voices. Her debut album Lucky (2023) introduced listeners to her knack for storytelling, while her follow-up, Am I Okay? (2024), cemented her place as an artist who isn’t afraid to be vulnerable and brutally honest. On Feb. 20, Moroney dropped her third studio album, Cloud 9, which she told PEOPLE is filled with “sassy” songs and a product of feeling “really confident with where I'm at in my life.”

That self-conviction is the cornerstone of Revlon’s new campaign. Moroney “represents a new generation of women shaping culture on their own terms, reinforcing that true impact is rooted not only in beauty, but also in depth, confidence and self‑definition,” according to the brand.

The partnership also marks a new direction for Revlon, one that leans less on traditional ideas of beauty and more on the women who define it for themselves. It’s a sentiment that’s deeply aligned with Moroney’s Gen-Z fanbase, many of whom have connected to her precisely because of her candor and vulnerability.

“This campaign represents a truth I believe in: beauty is only one part of what makes someone unforgettable,” Moroney shared in a press release. “There’s power in reminding women they can take up space and lead with confidence, authenticity and strength. Being part of that message means a lot to me.”

As a new ambassador, Moroney will appear in a number of Revlon ads, spotlighting the brand’s PhotoReady Collection (a line of skincare-inspired, performance-driven makeup formulas) and the Glimmer franchise, which features formulas designed for a more “glowy,” high-shine look. The debut campaign images lean into Moroney as she is: confident, glamorous but still very much approachable.

Her career trajectory also mirrors the campaign’s core idea: that being unforgettable isn’t about arriving at some final version of yourself, but about continuing to grow into it. And the timing of this partnership only amplifies that momentum. With the CLOUD 9 international tour kicking off May 29, Moroney is about to step into bigger venues and even greater visibility. And when she does, there’s no doubt she’ll be rocking some really gorgeous glam.
