Myles Garrett shares early impressions of Rams: 'They're locked and loaded'
Myles Garrett is the latest star to land in Hollywood, joining the Los Angeles Rams after being traded by the Cleveland Browns. He's going from a team with almost no chance of winning a Super Bowl to the team that's favored to win it all, integrating himself in the impeccable culture Sean McVay has built.
Garrett has only been with the Rams for a couple of weeks, but he's already seeing what makes them a special team. Garrett says the environment in the Rams' building is "second to none" and that there's a built-in chemistry within the team that has them on the right track this season.
"First I would say, they were telling me that L.A. isn't a football town, but the reception we've been getting is amazing, so thank you," he said to the L.A. crowd during the "New Heights" live show. "The environment in that building is second to none. The way those guys rally around each other, the chemistry that they have, the work ethic, you see it every day. They know exactly who they are and what their expectations are for this year, and they're locked and loaded. They looked at me as just another bullet in the gun and we're ready to go."

Garrett didn't win very much in Cleveland, only making the playoffs twice in nine years. The Rams have been to the postseason in seven of McVay's nine seasons, reaching two Super Bowls, and making it to the NFC title game just last season.
The cultures in Cleveland and Los Angeles are very different, which is why Garrett has been so impressed by what he's seen in the Rams' building already. For the Rams, it's Super Bowl or bust, while the Browns would be thrilled to simply make the playoffs.
He has to be thrilled about landing in Los Angeles where he'll have by far his best chance to win a Super Bowl.
