Nicole Curtis and HGTV announced new episodes of Rehab Addict will air on Wednesday, Feb. 11
The show’s return comes after Curtis made the “executive decision” to pull the show from the air mid-season in July
In the months leading up to the official announcement, the designer teased the return of the show and told fans it would be coming back early 2026
Rehab Addict fans are in for a pleasant surprise!
In an Instagram post shared jointly by HGTV and Nicole Curtis on Feb. 9, the network and the designer revealed new episodes of Rehab Addict will air this Wednesday, Feb. 11.
The “surprise” announcement comes after Curtis, 49, teased the return of her fan-favorite renovation show after she suddenly pulled it off the air in July.
“Surprise, surprise!” the captions reads. Tagging Curtis’ Instagram handle, it continues, “@detroitdesign returns this Wednesday with back-to-back episodes of #RehabAddict starting at 12 pm ET on HGTV 🫡”
The caption is accompanied by a clip from one of the upcoming episodes, in which Curtis is seen continuing her work on the historic Doris House in Detroit, per an episode synopsis from HGTV.

“This is exactly my nightmare in old homes,” she says as she inspects an eerie, cobweb-filled space in what appears to be the basement of the property. “There are like, these weird little rooms.”
She continues, “I never want to be surprised. The fact that we already had squatters in here… I never want to be in a house where there [are] secret rooms and people are in them.”
Fans of the show were thrilled to hear new episodes are finally going to air, and many expressed their excitement in the comments section.
“I’M SO EXCITED TO WATCH!!!!” one person wrote, followed by another who added, “I’m so excited for new episodes! 👏 my favorite show!”
A different user wrote, “Wonderful news! Can’t wait to see Nicole and her Rehab Addict team back at work in Detroit! 😊❤️”

One user noted their excitement for the show’s return, but questioned why it’s premiering at a new time instead of the 9 p.m. slot it had over the summer.
“So excited to see Nicole back in action. But, HGTV, why the crappy time slot?? She deserves prime time!!!” they wrote. Another added, “What’s with the time slot? Give this show a better time slot. ❤️”
Before the official HGTV announcement, Curtis revealed to her fans that the show would officially be coming back this week in a Feb. 8 Instagram post.

“Straight from Detroit — the new episodes drop Wednesday …was told now or never - so you get them now,” she captioned the post. “And can you do me a huge show of support by sharing this. Sending it to friends, tag a friend, a stranger ❤️”
Alongside the caption, she added, “New shows drop Wednesday !!!!” in white text over a photo of her smiling.

Curtis’ official announcement comes after she teased in January that a return date for Rehab Addict would soon be announced.
The mom of two pulled the show's ninth season off the air mid-run in July 2025 after just two episodes had aired, noting that she made the "executive decision" to shelve the rest of the season and recut the episodes.
In December, Curtis said the show would be returning to HGTV in a newsletter announcement sent out to fans via email.
HGTV later confirmed to PEOPLE that the network "plans to air the remaining episodes of Rehab Addict Season 9 in Q1” of 2026 and that more details would be shared soon.
