A celebrity wedding planner is shutting down one of the most persistent rumors surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

Amid online speculation that the couple planned to marry on June 13 at the Ocean House in Watch Hill, luxury event designer Tara Guérard said the claims are false.

On April 4, the Wedding Chicks posted on Instagram linking the couple to the coastal venue, writing, "Taylor Swift’s alleged wedding date has the bridal internet in full detective mode. From rumored Rhode Island whispers to possible bridesmaids and wedding aesthetic predictions… if true, this may be the celebrity wedding mood board of the decade."

Guérard, who is scheduled to oversee a wedding at the Ocean House that day, commented: "I am the wedding planner for June 13th at the Ocean House in Rhode Island! Sorry to let you all know, Taylor is not my bride this weekend! Boo!"

The rumors stemmed from the venue's proximity to Swift’s Rhode Island home and the date’s significance, as 13 is her favorite number.

Proposing in a secret garden

Since Kelce popped the question, the couple's eventual wedding has been one of the most closely watched events in pop culture. The proposal took place in a flower-filled setting, the couple revealed in a joint Instagram post shared Aug. 26. The five-photo carousel includes images of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end on one knee, a close-up of Swift’s old mine brilliant-cut diamond ring, and a picture of the couple embracing.

The pair captioned the post, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married."

The engagement marks a new milestone in the couple's high-profile relationship, which began in 2023 shortly after Kelce attended Swift's Eras Tour stop in Kansas City.

The two went public later that year when Swift attended a Kansas City Chiefs game. No official wedding date or location has been announced.
