Nobody Wants This star Adam Brody has clarified his stance on Palestine ahead of the show's Season 3 premiere.

The actor, 46, who stars as the charming, unconventional rabbi Noah Roklov in the hit Netflix romantic comedy series, explained that while he hasn't addressed the Israel-Gaza issue publicly before, he has "spoken a lot about it privately." The actor made his thoughts clear in a recent interview, saying, "Put me down as thinking it's a genocide. Put me down as wanting a free Palestine.

"It's awful that it's taken so much death and misery, but it does feel like it's reaching a breaking point that it should have a while ago." His comments came ahead of the release of Season 3 of Nobody Wants This, which is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on October 22, 2026.

Speaking to GQ, he added, "I'm hopeful that another administration can really do some good and correct some of these policies that are helping that situation be as awful as it is."

In the Netflix series, created by Erin Foster, 44, Adam's character has an unlikely relationship with Joanne, an agnostic sex podcaster played by Kristen Bell, 46.

Their romance shakes both their families, as Joanne immerses herself in Noah's culture and decides to convert to Judaism. In Season 3, Joanne and Noah are finally moving in together, the trailer revealed.

Following Adam's comments, many fans praised him as one wrote on Reddit, "I knew I loved you, Adam Brody." Another said, "I'm glad it's finally snowballing in the correct direction." A third shared, "Nobody Wants This Genocide."

Someone else said, "It only took nearly 3 straight years of full-blown genocide for it to become encouraged to acknowledge and be outraged by it. How many of those dead kids would still be alive and have lived to have children and grandchildren of their own if people had been this brave in 2024?"

One more claimed, "Kinda wild for him to say that when he's on Nobody Wants This, considering how Islamophobic and pro-Zionism and just terrible the Fosters are. I'd understand if he was a newer star maybe, but he and Kristen are definitely in the financial positions to turn down things based on their values."

The official description for the new season of Nobody Wants This reads, "That 'first time' feeling, all over again. After recommitting to each other at the end of last season, Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Noah (Adam Brody) are moving into a home - and a relationship - that finally feels solid, embracing every exciting 'first' that comes with building their life together.

"Sasha (Timothy Simons) and Esther (Jackie Tohn) are thrust back into the dating world, whether they like it or not, stumbling through all the awkwardness (and unexpected thrill) of getting to know someone new, right as Morgan (Justine Lupe) takes her career to the next level, on her way to becoming an (almost) media sensation. Meanwhile, Sasha and Morgan have been circling something neither of them has been able to admit to."

Season 3 is scheduled to stream on Netflix on October 22.
