Kim Kardashian and Kanye West posted footage of their 12-year-old daughter's first-ever solo performance on social media

North West performed solo at a music festival for the first time ever.
On Friday, June 12, the 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West performed at Lyrical Lemonade's Summer Smash 2026 music festival in Bridgeview, Ill.
Kim, 45, shared a look into the event on her Instagram Stories with a photo of backstage passes that had North's face on them alongside the words "Stage 3 … North West."
The SKIMS founder also reshared a series of clips of North performing onstage at the music festival to cheering crowds, while dressed in a head-to-toe black Balenciaga outfit with spiky jewelry, black sneaker boots, and huge black sunglasses.

West, 49, also shared support for North's first solo festival appearance by reposting a clip on his Instagram Stories of North performing their 2024 collaboration "TALKING," from his album Vultures 1, as fans chanted the lyrics.
Kim's stylist, Dani Levi, shared behind-the-scenes footage of the festival on her Instagram Stories, including a photo of her and North posing backstage together and the pair walking around the festival grounds.

Levi also posted a clip of North performing onstage at the music festival.
North's first solo music festival performance comes after the release of her debut EP, N0rth4Evr, on May 1.
The preteen's family showed their support for her new music on Instagram at the time, including her uncle Rob Kardashian, aunt Khloé Kardashian and grandmother Kris Jenner.
Days after the release of her new music, North gave a surprise performance at the Rolling Loud music festival in Orlando, Fla., alongside rapper Molly Santana.

Back in April, North performed with West during his SoFi Stadium concert, singing their tracks, "TALKING" and "Piercing on My Hand."
Kim shares four children — North, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7 — with her ex.
