Phoebe Gates and boyfriend Chaz Flynn spent a night out in New York City.
The 23-year-old Phia founder, the younger daughter of Bill and Melinda French Gates, and her boyfriend attended the Meta Glasses launch, in partnership with EssilorLuxottica, at Terminal Warehouse in N.Y.C. on Tuesday, June 23.
Stylist Law Roach, Vogue's Chloe Malle and others were also in attendance.
In a news release, Meta said the new specs, which start at $299, are the company’s “first AI glasses to launch with Meta AI powered by Muse Spark.”
The glasses are meant to be “compatible with prescription lenses” and come in 26 styles “across a range of colors, lenses, and frames.”

While so-called smart glasses are becoming increasingly high profile — Snap is launching their own version too, with Google also working on its own product — they aren't without controversy and concern from some.
The University of San Francisco even issued a safety advisory in October following reports of a man using Ray-Ban Meta sunglasses to record women.
Phoebe Gates publicly launched her relationship with Flynn in December. The pair have known each other since they were about 15 years old and first dated back in Seattle, when they were in high school.
During an episode of her and Sophia Kianni's The Burnouts podcast in September, Phoebe opened up about her relationship and said Flynn's lack of a social media presence was “the best thing ever.”

“And this is completely new for me. I’ve never been with someone like this,” she added.
She has also been busy with her Phia app, a price comparison tool that aims to “reinvent shopping” with help from artificial intelligence.
The app, which has more than 9,600 retail brand partners, helps customers calculate resale value, find better-priced alternatives and track price decreases in real time.
As of May, the company’s total funding sat at $43.5 million. That month, the company received $35.5 million in new seed funding led by Notable Capital, Khosla Ventures and Kleiner Perkins.
Phia has attracted a slew of celebrity donors since its launch in April 2025, including Khloé Kardashian, Alix Earle, Olivia Culpo, Paris Hilton, Mindy Kaling, Jessica Alba, Sydney Sweeney and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Hailey Bieber and Kris Jenner also made donations during the September round of seed funding.

Phoebe launched Phia along with Kianni, whom she has known since their time at Stanford University, where they first got to know each other as roommates.
“AI is reshaping nearly every industry, but shopping is stuck in the past,” she previously told PEOPLE. “Consumers still waste hours comparing prices and hunting for deals, only to still end up overpaying.”
