King Charles is not a soccer fan, according to his son, Prince William!

During a surprise guest spot on Travis and Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast on Friday, July 3, the Prince of Wales, 44, shared that his father is not a fan of the sport.

While delving into the "origin story" of Prince William's football fandom, Travis, 36, asked if King Charles was the reason why he is such a fan of Aston Villa.

"Absolutely not," Prince William said. "My father hates football."

"Oh no," the Kansas City Chiefs tight end interjected, seemingly surprised.

"My family haven't got a particularly long history with football," he said. "There are a few of us who support teams. My football love came from friends taking me to my first match and at school growing up. You can't. You can't avoid the football chat. It's everywhere. Yeah. And some school friends or childhood friends of mine took me to my first game."

Prince William, an ardent Aston Villa fan and patron of the Football Association, recently toasted the team's win in the Europa League final.
