Shannon Beador is mourning the death of her beloved dog, Archie.

The Real Housewives of Orange Countystar, 62, shared on Instagram Thursday, May 14, that her golden retriever has died.

"Heaven has a new special angel," Beador wrote, alongside a photo of Archie smiling on the beach. The image also showed three dove emojis above Archie's head.

Archie died on Wednesday, May 13, leaving her and her daughters "heartbroken," Beador wrote.

The reality star shares three daughters — Sophie, 24, and twins Stella and Adeline, 21 — with her ex-husband David Beador.

Just over a week before he died, Shannon announced on Instagram that Archie had been diagnosed with brain cancer and was advised to begin radiation.

"For the last 10 years, Archie wasn't just my dog - he was my constant comfort, protector, best friend and truly the real 'man' in my life," Shannon wrote on Thursday.

Reflecting on the "ups and downs" she has experienced, Beador praised Archie for being by her side for each "good time and every heartache ... Never judging me and always giving pure, loyal, and unconditional love."

Bravo fans are no strangers to Archie's "gentle heart and sweet soul," Shannon said, referencing his many cameos on RHOC over the years. Archie even won a BravoCon award for best animal appearance in 2025.

"I am grateful so many fans had the chance to watch Archie grow up," she added.

Shannon then opened up about Archie's last days, during which he spent enjoying his favorite things, from a day at the park to time in the ocean, and indulging in a few snacks, "more than just his usual carrots."

Shannon told her followers that Archie's brother, Troy, whom the family adopted in May 2025, is also having a difficult time with the loss.

"There is such a void in our household right now. Troy continues to look for his big brother which is heartbreaking," she wrote. "I keep thinking he is just taking a nap but Archie is now a very special angel in heaven and is swimming, running, and playing catch with no more pain."

Expressing gratitude for her family's time with Archie, Shannon said she and her three daughters are "blessed" to have had more than a decade "with the most incredible companion anyone could ask for."

Shannon said she plans to post more memories in the future, ending with a note of thanks for her supporters.

In the comment section, Shannon received support from her RHOC costar, Tamra Judge, who wrote, "Sweet Archie is now running free in Heaven with all the tennis balls his heart desires 🎾❤️‍🩹 Thinking of you and the girls. 🙏🏼."

Sophie also paid tribute to Archie with a series of Instagram photos of the two of them over the years.

"I feel so blessed that he was brought into my family, and his loss is immeasurable," she wrote in part, "I can't wait to see him again one day. Until then, I hope he will spend everyday playing at the park and eating in n out and lots of carrots. He will forever be missed, and he was surrounded by so much love."
