The late Rob and Michele Reinerās son Jake Reiner has married his fiancĆ©e, Maria Gilfillan, PEOPLE has learned.
Jake, 35, wed Gilfillan in a small ceremony in early August, according to TMZ, which was the first to report.
Jake shared a glimpse into the coupleās relationship in an October 2025 Instagram post, in which the pair attended a friendās wedding in Las Vegas. It is not immediately clear how the couple met or how long they had been together before tying the knot.
The coupleās marriage comes eight months after the tragic deaths of Jakeās parents, filmmaker Rob and his wife, photographer Michele. In Jakeās recent interview with KABC-TVās Marc Cota-Robles about his life since his parentsā deaths on Dec. 14, 2025, he appeared to wear a wedding band.
During the interview, Jake spoke about the shock of the killings of his parents, in connection with which his brother, Nick Reiner, was arrested. Nick, 32, has since been indicted on two counts of first-degree murder and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
āItās been eight months. It feels like eight years at the same time. And it also feels like eight minutes,ā Jake said in the interview. āBecause every moment that I wake up, Iām reminded of my reality.ā
Jake described the shock he felt the moment his sister Romy, 28, called him to their childhood home, the scene of their parentsā deaths. He noted that he had seen crime scenes throughout his career as a local news reporter, but was shocked to find his own family at the center of one.
āWhen itās your crime scene, like a crime scene at your childhood home, [itās] like the most surreal thing Iāve ever seen,ā Jake said.

Throughout the interview, Jake declined to answer questions about his brother Nick and his alleged role in the deaths of his parents. Jake did say he knew how his parents felt about Nick, and expressed that they had a hands-on approach to his recovery from drug addiction.

Nick remains behind bars at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles. He was arrested hours after his parentsā murder near the campus of the University of Southern California and has been held without bail since.
He is scheduled to return to court for a pretrial hearing on Sept. 15.
If convicted as charged, Nick faces death or life in prison without the possibility of parole. A decision on whether to seek the death penalty has not yet been made, per the district attorneyās office.
