Sabrina Carpenter and Stevie Nicks teamed up for a dream collaboration at the 2026 Met Gala.
On Monday, May 4, the "Manchild" performer took the stage with the "Rhiannon" artist to perform a wistful cover of Fleetwood Mac's 1975 classic "Landslide."
The Met Museum's Instagram account shared video of their performance, where Nicks, 77, could be seen taking the stage in a shimmering black gown and fingerless gloves after a sheet covering a large picture frame was pulled down.

"Sabrina Carpenter and Stevie Nicks bring the house down with a performance of “Landslide!” 🎤 #MetGala," they captioned the post.
Nicks, who made her Met Gala debut that night in a custom Zara gown designed by John Galliano, opened the track over acoustic guitar: “I took my love, I took it down / Climbed a mountain and I turned around / And I saw my reflection in the snow-covered hills / ‘Til the landslide brought me down.”
Soon, Carpenter, 26, donning a golden gown, emerged and held Nicks’ hand as she sang the lines, “Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love? / Can the child within my heart rise above? / Can I sail through the changin’ ocean tides? / Can I handle the seasons of my life?”
The "Edge of Seventeen" artist then told the "Taste" musician, “I don’t know … we don’t know," following that last line.
Together, the pair joined forces for the third verse: “Well, I’ve been afraid of changin’ / ‘Cause I’ve built my life around you / But time makes you bolder / Children get older / And I’m gettin’ older, too/ Yes, I’m gettin’ older, too.”
Per Billboard, Carpenter remained on the stage as Nicks performed Fleetwood Mac's 1977 track “Don’t Stop Thinking About Tomorrow,” before playing 1982's “Gypsy” and her 1981 solo hit “Edge of Seventeen.”

The two-time Grammy winner, who appeared on the red carpet earlier in a Dior dress covered in film strips that paid tribute to Audrey Hepburn’s 1954 movie Sabrina, also performed tracks including “Espresso,” “Please Please Please” and “House Tour."
Last week, Nicks honored the 25th anniversary of her beloved sixth studio album Trouble in Shangri-La on Instagram.
"25 years ago you all visited my Shangri-La for the first time," she wrote at the time, sharing a performance video of "Sorcerer" with collaborator Sheryl Crow.
Nicks then noted how the album allowed her to bond with Crow, 65.
"This record gave me not only one of the most fun & creative times in my life but also my friendship with @sherylcrow. I owe it so much," she wrote.
Last week, Carpenter teamed up with Madonna for "Bring Your Love," the lead single from Madge's forthcoming album Confessions II.
"Bring Your Love is out now," the Girl Meets World alum wrote on Instagram, sharing photos of the pop icon.
Carpenter added, "Thank you @Madonna for inviting me to be a part of Confessions II 🫦♥️🌹 i hope you all enjoy it & take a break from phone and go out and dance !"
