Break out the propane (and propane accessories): King of the Hill is back. The animated sitcom, which centers on the Hills, a blue-collar family living in a small Texas town, was highly regarded for its realistic, well-observed sense of humor and endearing characters during its initial 13-season run on Fox from 1997 to 2009. The series returned ā this time to Hulu ā in August 2025, honoring the time jump to bring its colorful cast into the present.
Throughout its tenure, King of the Hill has been celebrated for its voice cast, including series creator Mike Judge as Hank Hill, Kathy Najimy as his wife Peggy, and Pamela Adlon as their only son, Bobby. Ahead, we look at the actors behind the King of the Hill, many of whom returned for the Hulu revival.
