The report came in the middle of rumors about the celebrity couple’s wedding date, which had been on the internet since their engagement last year. Now, there are speculations that the singer and the NFL star will tie the knot on June 13.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding plans might reportedly coincide with the football star’s alleged return to the Kansas City Chiefs for the upcoming season. Ian Rapoport, an NFL insider, recently shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) about the football tight end’s return to the team for the new season.

In the caption of the post, Rapoport wrote, “Back for more: #Chiefs future Hall of Fame TE Travis Kelce is expected to return to Kansas City for a 14th season.” The insider continued, “A message that’s been delivered to teams who will want him.” Meanwhile, Rapoport added, “At 36, Kelce’s play was at its usual level, landing him in the Pro Bowl. He’s loyal to KC & will stay.”

Meanwhile, Heavy reported Kelce could miss some major early time while making his return due to his wedding plans with his fiancée, Swift. Rumours have it that the couple will take their wedding vows this year on June 13 at the singer’s Ocean House in Watch Hill.

The Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly not dropped their complete offseason practice schedule yet. They generally do not release it until around the first week of April. However, the team’s previous schedules had some mandatory and some voluntary practices close to the speculated wedding date of Kelce and Swift. Thus, the situation could reportedly complicate the football star’s return to the team.
