Teyana Taylor turned heads on the red carpet at the 2026 MTV VMAs in a bold look on Sunday, Sept. 27
She is nominated for Best Collaboration for her song “Hard Part” with Lucky Daye and will present at the show
Taylor previously won a Moon Person Trophy in 2017 for Best Choreography in Kanye West’s “Fade” music video

The actress and musician, 35, served gothic glamour in a striking silhouette with when she hit the red carpet at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards at the Peacock Theater in California on Sunday, Sept. 27.
Taylor turned heads in a dramatic black dress with lace detailing on the garment. The floor-length number featured a plunging neckline with shaggy feathers on the long-sleeve cuffs and around the collar.

For her glam, Taylor served a mesmerizing beat with a dark, smoky eye and a nude lip. She styled her hair into two tousled space buns.
Taylor earned a Best Collaboration nod for her work on “Hard Part” with Lucky Daye. She’s also a presenter alongside other stars including Alex Warren, Charli xcx, Tyla and Troye Sivan.
Off Campus stars Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright will also present, as will Summer House star and current Dancing with the Stars contestant Ciara Miller, Survivor host Jeff Probst and Superman star David Corenswet.

Scream 7 actress Isabel May will also take the stage, as well as Loves Company star Rachel Dratch.
The One Battle After Another star is no stranger to the awards show, having won in years past. She took home the famed Moon Person Trophy at the 2017 VMAs for Best Choreography for her work starring in and co-choreographing Kanye West’s music video “Fade.”

It’s been an award-filled year for Taylor, who’s racked up the accolades for her work. She took home a Golden Globe for her work on One Battle After Another, was honored with the Visionary Award at the Billboard Women in Music and was recognized at the BET Awards as Icon of the Year.
This year, the VMAs will be hosted by Snoop Dogg. In between awards, a stacked lineup of star-studded performers will take the stage.

Lisa will perform her new single “SaWaDiKa” for the first time on live TV, while Sienna Spiro and RAYE will make their VMAs performance debut. Shaboozey will also perform at the VMAs for the first time and will sing his hit “Cowgirl.” He’ll also perform his new hit “High Noon” with Gunna.
GENER8ION and Yung Lean will also put on the world premiere performance of “STORM II.” All seven performers are also nominated at the 2026 MTV VMAs.
After Madonna, Taylor Swift is the night’s most-nominated artist, with nine nods, including Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Pop, Best Direction and more. She is also set to receive the inaugural Artist Director Honors at the show.
Hosted by Snoop Dogg, the 2026 VMAs are airing live from Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 27, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. ET (4:30 to 6:30 p.m. PT) on CBS, with a simulcast on MTV and streaming on Paramount+ in the U.S. The show will be available globally on Paramount+ and MTV the following day.
