Moreover, he declared that he does “not want to reconcile” with his family. While David and Victoria were showing a united front amid the tension, a source has now revealed that the couple’s marriage is “in a major crisis right now.”

Victoria and David Beckham’s family have been the talk of the town ever since the feud with their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, came to light. While the couple has tried their best to mend things with their son, he has made it clear that he no longer wants to reconcile with his parents. While throughout the feud, David and Victoria have shown a united front, it seems their relationship is now going through a tough time.

Shedding more light on the current status of the former footballer’s relationship with his designer wife, a source told RadarOnline.com that the power couple “are in a major crisis right now. And that applies to their marriage as well as the spiraling situation with Brooklyn.”

Despite the feud, the former footballer once seemed to have supported Brooklyn when he stated that kids “make mistakes. Children are allowed to make mistakes. That’s how they learn… But you know, you have to sometimes let them make those mistakes.”

However, his statement did not sit well with Victoria as he failed to defend his wife at such a crucial time. That is why their friends feel that “whether David meant it or not,” it seemed that “he chose Brooklyn over Victoria, and it’s a colossal blow to the marriage as well as the family as a whole.”

The couple has “been in turmoil for the longest time over the feud” with their son and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham. “There’s a lot of blame and finger-pointing going on behind the scenes,” after Brooklyn’s post. “The fact they’ve now been exposed as dysfunctional is a real dagger to their brand,” added the source.
