Get ready because 2025 was only a taste of what is to come.

In truth, the first half of this decade will energetically look very different from the second half, as we are experiencing new major planetary movements and trends affecting each of us individually — and the entire human collective, at large.

While the New Year celebrations will certainly be on top of your mind, the astrological main moment of the week will be the arrival of the Wolf Moon, which is a full moon in Cancer on Jan. 3. The energy of this full moon peaks at this time, but will already be creeping in by the turn of the year and until the middle of next week. It’s a rather positive full moon, which should bring sweet moods and deeply sentimental feelings.

Mercury, the planet of the mind, dances into Capricorn from Jan. 1 until Jan. 20, forcing us to be more practical, grounded and ambitious in our thoughts and communications.

As for cosmic weather this week, Dec. 29 could bring some challenging moods or disagreements, while confusion is likely to occur on Jan. 1. As for New Year's Eve and Day, the moon will be in Gemini, which will certainly bring a festive, social energy to our emotions and interactions.
