Florida football and Texas will meet for the sixth time in history on October 17 in Austin, Texas. Here's game start time, where it will air on TV.

The kickoff time for Florida football's showdown at No. 1 Texas has been set.

The No. 15 Florida Gators (4-1, 2-1 SEC) will face the Longhorns (4-0, 1-0 SEC) at noon ET in a game televised on ABC.

Florida is 1-3-1 all-time against Texas, picking up their first-ever win over the Longhorns last year with a 29-21 upset of UT at The Swamp.

UF's last trip to Austin didn't go as well, though, as the Gators lost 45-17 at Texas on November 9, 2024.

Texas has picked up the signature win of the college football season so far, rallying back to beat then No. 1 Ohio State 24-23 on September 12 to claim the top spot in the US LBM coaches poll.

The Longhorns are led by quarterback Arch Manning, who has passed for 862 yards and 7 TDs and rushed for 82. Texas's defense, under the direction of defensive coordinator and former UF coach Will Muschamp, ranks fourth in the SEC in total defense, giving up 271.0 yards per game.
