Leavitt's most recent TikTok comes after sources confirmed to PEOPLE early last week that a Mormon Wives spinoff show was in the works — with plans for it to begin shooting this spring and premiere in the fall.
A source told PEOPLE that the show will be set in Orange County, and as of now, Jen Affleck is the only original cast member who will star in the spinoff alongside nine new castmates.
A representative for Hulu did not respond to PEOPLE's request for comment about the new show at the time.
The news of the spinoff show also comes after multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that the original Mormon Wives series had halted filming for its fifth season on Monday, March 16. Initially, one insider cited "some pretty serious stuff happening" regarding Taylor Frankie Paul's past as the reason for the halt. That same day, a spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE that there is an open "domestic assault investigation" regarding Paul and Mortensen, who share son Ever, 2. The spokesperson confirmed "allegations have been made in both directions" and "contact was made with involved parties on [Feb] 24th and 25th."Paul was previously arrested in 2023 for alleged domestic violence, accused of throwing metal chairs at Mortensen while her then-5-year-old, Indy, was in the room. The case garnered new scrutiny after a video of a 2023 altercation between the two was published by TMZ on March 19.

A rep for Paul previously told PEOPLE the video "conveniently omits context" and called its release a "reprehensible attempt [by Mortensen] to distract from his own behavior."
Mortensen responded in his own statement to PEOPLE, writing, "I am, unfortunately, used to these baseless claims about me and our relationship, which I categorically deny." With regard to the 2023 incident, Paul pleaded guilty in abeyance to aggravated assault and the other charges were dropped.
Leavitt previously addressed recent scandals surrounding her fellow MomTokers in a sit-down with Interview Magazine, where Leavitt was asked how she was feeling about the future of the show."I have a lot of emotions about it and I’m still processing everything that’s happening, but the safety of human beings, especially children, comes first," she said."Always, period, the end. And I don’t want that to be tolerated. I don’t want that to be overlooked. It’s just so fresh. That’s all I have to say about that."
