Aryna Sabalenka is an engaged woman!
After two years of dating, Brazilian entrepreneur Georgios Frangulis popped the question to the tennis star in March 2026 during a romantic outdoor proposal.
The couple were first spotted together in April 2024 — a month after the tragic and untimely death of Sabalenka's ex-boyfriend, Konstantin Koltsov, who died by suicide in March 2024.
In an August 2024 interview with PEOPLE, Sabalenka opened up about how Frangulis was her greatest source of support while she navigated her grief. “There was a really tough period where I was really happy to have him by my side, always cheering me up, always making sure that we are doing some fun stuff,” she said.
So, who is Aryna Sabalenka’s fiancé? Here’s everything to know about Georgios Frangulis and his relationship with the tennis star.
He’s from Brazil

Born and raised in Sao Paolo, Brazil, Frangulis studied law at FAAP (Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado) in 2014, he told Forbes Brazil in July 2023. However, he added that he didn't earn his degree or take the Brazilian bar exam.
“I always knew I wouldn’t be a lawyer,” Frangulis said. “What I really wanted was to be an entrepreneur.”
He went on to found Oakberry. The brand is connected to his Brazilian heritage as the product's main ingredient, açaí berries, are harvested in the Amazon rainforest.
“Açaí, as a fruit, only exists because of the subsistence culture of riverside communities in the Amazon Rainforest," Frangulis told Forbes Brazil in June 2023.
He founded Oakberry in 2016

Frangulis founded Oakberry, a superfood brand specializing in açaí products, in December 2016. The brand quickly gained popularity for its açaí bowls and smoothies, and expanded rapidly, with over 700 stores across more than 40 countries.
The company raised $67 million in capital in late 2023, further solidifying its position as a leading player in the superfood market, per a post on Traded: Venture Capital's Instagram.
In June 2023, Frangulis graced the cover of Forbes Brazil. In the cover story, the founder shared how he blends his spirituality and faith with his journey in entrepreneurship, as well as the hardships he’s faced both personally and professionally.
“I have always been a believer, in the sense of faith,” he explained. “And I have held on to that in those moments when we feel at rock bottom and need to react.”
Frangulis later shared his gratitude on social media, emphasizing the importance of the milestone.
“You can't pretend it's just another day or just another magazine, for any entrepreneur it's an accomplishment,” Frangulis wrote on Instagram at the time. “Let's keep going!”
He supports Sabalenka's tennis career

Throughout their relationship, Frangulis has been a steady supporter of his tennis pro girlfriend. He is often seen with Sabalenka at her matches, cheering her on during crucial moments.
They were first spotted together during the Mutua Madrid Open in April 2024, where Sabalenka was a finalist in her event. Then, Frangulis watched Sabalenka win the Cincinnati Masters in August 2024 and the US Open in N.Y.C. the following month.

Frangulis is also there to support her when the match doesn't go her way — and to offer a little comic relief. After Sabalenka lost the 2025 Australian Open to Madison Keys, he posted a photo of the couple posing with Jackie Chan on his Instagram Stories, writing, "At least we met Jackie Chan (which is cool af)."
Sabalenka is an Oakberry ambassador

In January 2024, Sabalenka became a brand ambassador for Oakberry.
"Aryna Sabalenka is a great example of the future of tennis and we are working closely with her to create some really exciting things over the years,” Frangulis said in a statement at the time. “We can't wait for our fans to get involved!"
More recently, in August 2024, the tennis pro announced a personalized açaí bowl in collaboration with the superfood chain.
“I’m so excited to introduce my new @oakberryusa bowl... the POWER SERVE BOWL,” she captioned a video on Instagram. “Packed with everything I rely on to stay energized on and off the court.”
In an interview with Forbes in August 2024, Sabalenka shared how she appreciates the element of creativity involved with her Oakberry collaboration.
“[Business partnerships] become much more personal and special when there’s an opportunity to be creatively involved,” she said. “That creative input makes the partnership more meaningful and authentic. And in this case, even more special since I’m a big fan of the brand and the product.”
He is a motorsports athlete

Aside from his career as an entrepreneur, Frangulis is also a motorsports enthusiast, having competed in 128 races of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge, according to Driver Database.
While balancing his passion for racing with his expanding brand isn’t easy, he finds ways to make it work.
“If I maintain a routine of physical training in my daily life, in addition to psychological support to cope with the pressure [therapy twice a week], I’m always prepared for the moment of driving,” Frangulis told Forbes Brazil. “Getting in the car and racing is one of the few moments when nothing else matters.”
Sabalenka has expressed her gratitude for him

Sabalenka, in turn, has been vocal about her appreciation for Frangulis’ support. During the trophy presentation at the Cincinnati Masters in August 2024, she mistakenly referred to him as her “boyfriends.”
“Thank you to my boyfriends — I said boyfriends, oh my god,” she said, then corrected herself. “Thank you to my boyfriend for keeping me happy every day.”
He and Sabalenka got engaged in March 2026

Ahead of competing in the Australian Open in January 2026, Sabalenka gave Frangulis a shout-out — with a hint to propose — while on the court after her win at the Brisbane International tennis tournament.
"Last but not least, thank you to my team for handling me. I really am the toughest to handle and you are the toughest in the world because you can handle me," she said. "Thank you to my boyfriend ... Hopefully soon I can call you something else."
As it turns out, her wish came true two months later. In March 2026, Frangulis proposed by a swimming pool, where the couple were surrounded by candles and flowers.
"You & me, forever ♾️ 3.3.26 💍🤍," she wrote in her Instagram caption.
