Offset, a rapper and songwriter, has been hospitalized after being shot in South Florida.
Kiari Kendrell Cephus, better known professionally as Offset, was injured after a shooting that took place outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood on Monday, April 6.
In a statement to USA Today, the Seminole Police Department said that it was "aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood."

"Seminole Police were on site immediately, and the situation was contained quickly," the statement read. "Two individuals have been detained by police."

While the investigation is “ongoing,” the police also said “the site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal."
Is Offset OK?
According to a spokesperson, Cephus was “shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care." The spokesperson added that he is “stable and being closely monitored.”
Who is Offset?
Kiari Kendrell Cephus, who is 34 years old, is a previous member of the the hip-hop trio, Migos. He was formerly married to Cardi B, with whom he shares three of six children.
