Olivia Rodrigo attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in a pale-pink Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello minidress.

The dress’s color sparked theories among fans that she could be teasing her next music era.

Olivia Rodrigo stepped back into the spotlight last night, attending the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in a pale-pink satin crepe minidress from Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello with a feather skirt. She accessorized with Chopard jewelry.

The soft pastel dress was a lighter look for the star—and fans are convinced its pink hue is a nod to her new music era.

They shared their theories on social media, pointing out that over the past few days, a wall in Los Angeles featuring her new OR logo had a new color.

While it started off purple, it has been repainted each day. On Oscar night, it was being painted the same shade of pink that Rodrigo wore to Vanity Fair’s party. Fans believe the mural will ultimately be red—the color Rodrigo has teased is linked to her third album—with the daily color changes serving as a countdown to her announcing new music.

Fans also noticed a pink padlock in London with Rodrigo’s new logo and the word “April” written on it, fueling speculation about her project’s release date.

Rodrigo hasn’t shared what’s coming yet, though her site does feature her new OR logo against a light-purple background.

Back in October, Rodrigo confirmed she was writing new songs and spoke to ELLE about her upcoming project. “I’m working on new music and I’m having a lot of fun,” she said. “It’s nice to be home from touring, to really get to sink my teeth into new songs and new sounds and new stories. I’m having a really good time.”

She added that the process has been “so different” from making her last albums Sour and Guts. “Just by virtue of, I guess I’m a little older now and I feel like I have more experience,” she explained. “I think the tour and all the festivals were really educational for me and taught me a lot about who I am and what kind of music I want to make and what music I want to play for people. I’m taking all those lessons into the studio with me.”
