During an appearance on the Gloss Angeles podcast, Cindy Crawford said her husband Rande Gerber is "against" her getting a facelift

The supermodel says she feels "lucky" that Gerber doesn't want her to have the procedure

Cindy Crawford won't be getting a facelift any time soon.

During an appearance on the Friday, June 5 episode of the Gloss Angelespodcast, the supermodel, 60, said that her husband Rande Gerber is "against" the plastic surgery procedure.

"I mean I've definitely tried some of the lasers or PRP and that kind of stuff," Crawford told hosts Kirbie Johnson and Sara Tan when asked about her thoughts on cosmetic treatments. "I have kind of a pact with a friend of mine who's a makeup artist or was a makeup artist. She's kind of retired now. Her name is Sonia Kashuk. She used to have a big line at Target. She's one of my oldest friends and we're like 'We're not doing it right? We're not doing it.' "

She continued, "I feel lucky that my husband is very, very against it. He's like, 'You look beautiful.' He doesn't even like makeup. He prefers me to wear no makeup. Then I'll be like, 'But she looks so good.' And then I'm like, 'Okay wait, remind myself.' "

Crawford and Gerber, 64, recently celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary. The couple tied the knot on May 29, 1998, on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.

"From this to this in the blink of an eye," Crawford wrote on Instagram along with two black-and-white photos, the first being a throwback of the couple cutting their wedding cake together and the second being a more recent shot of them cozied up on a date with a celebratory dessert on the table.

She continued, "Celebrating 28 beautiful years with @randegerber. Such a privilege to be married to you. I love you! ❤️."

While speaking with PEOPLE about her newly announced partnership with Upneeq prescription eye drops (the only FDA-approved treatment clinically proven to lift low-lying upper eyelids in adults), Crawford said the product has boosted her confidence.

"About two years ago, my dermatologist told me about Upneeq as something that could help your eyes just look a little bit more wide open and awake," she shared. "So I tried it. At first, I was only using it for shoots or when I really wanted to be on. But when I realized you can use it every day, I was like, 'Why not?' It's [one of] those little things we can do to feel like the best version of ourselves. And, when women feel more confident, they present themselves in the world in a more confident way."

Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Dendy Engelman, who did not treat Crawford, explains that "as we age, there's a phenomenon called acquired blepharoptosis, where the muscle that controls the upper eyelid gets weakened. In addition to the natural drop in the eyebrow positioning, this results in a smaller eye aperture or opening." The non-invasive treatment, which works in as little as five minutes, activates that muscle, making your eyes more visible for up to eight hours.

"The thing I love about Upneeq is it's not a big commitment. You're not going under the knife," Crawford said.
