Royal brothers Prince William and Prince Harry are reportedly still at odds despite the Duke of Sussex's recent return to British soil.
In August, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle confirmed their return to the UK with their two young children, Archie and Lilibet. The couple stepped down as working members of the Royal Family when they moved to California in 2020, which allegedly created an estrangement between the brothers. Moments from Harry's 2023 memoir Spare have come back into the light since their return, including one x-rated comment Prince William made to Meghan when they first met.
This comes after reports that Harry left Queen Elizabeth "hurt beyond belief" before her death.

Despite the move back to the UK, the royal couple is not believed to have repaired their relationship with Prince William and Catherine, as the Prince and Princess of Wales are reportedly intent on avoiding any "drama" connected to Harry and Meghan's visit.

This estrangement a dramatic shift from the time when the two couples were dubbed the Fab Four ahead of Meghan and Harry's celebrated 2018 Windsor wedding, reports the Express US.
Tensions are understood to have surfaced between the brothers long before Harry's bombshell decision to step away from royal duties. In his memoir, Spare, Harry recalls the moment he told his brother and sister-in-law about his relationship with Meghan in October 2016.
He wrote, "Their mouths fell open. They turned to each other. Then Willy turned to me and said: 'F-k off? I was baffled until Willy and Kate explained that they were regular - nay, religious - viewers of Suits. 'Great,' I thought, laughing. 'I've been worrying about the wrong thing. All this time I'd thought Willy and Kate might not welcome Meg into the family, but now I had to worry about them hounding her for an autograph.'"

Yet the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have offered differing accounts of how the two couples first came together.
During Harry and Meghan's engagement interview, the prince said, "William was longing to meet her, and so was Catherine. So, you know, being our neighbors, we managed to get that in a couple of - well, quite a few times now, and Catherine has been absolutely..."

Meghan interjected, "She's been wonderful." Yet in their revealing Netflix series, Meghan described their first meeting as "jarring."
She said, "When Will and Kate came over, and I met her for the first time, they came over for dinner. I remember I was in ripped jeans, and I was barefoot. I was a hugger."
Meghan continued, "I've always been a hugger, I didn't realize that that is really jarring for a lot of Brits. I guess I started to understand very quickly that the formality on the outside carried through on the inside.
"There is a forward-facing way of being, and then you close the door and go 'You can relax now', but that formality carries over on both sides. And that was surprising to me."

Harry also recalled that inaugural dinner in his memoir, Spare, noting that Meghan had cooked and conversation had flowed pleasantly, touching on Wimbledon and the legal drama Suits.
He said, "The only possibly discordant note I could think of was the marked difference in how the two women dressed, which both of them seemed to notice. Meg: ripped jeans, barefoot. Kate: done up to the nines. No big deal, I thought."
The siblings, who were once considered virtually inseparable, are believed to have had no contact since Harry's dramatic exit from both the United Kingdom and his role as a senior working royal back in 2020. The duke moved to Montecito, California, together with his wife, Meghan Markle, embarking on a new chapter in which the couple committed to achieving financial independence.
Over the past six years, the pair have participated in several high-profile interviews with notable figures, including Oprah Winfrey, in which they recounted their experiences within the Royal Family.
They also starred in their own Netflix documentary series, Finding Freedom, which chronicled their time as senior working royals.
