Zuzu Bailey is coming to Columbus.

Karolyn Grimes, who played Jimmy Stewart’s young daughter in the holiday classic "It's a Wonderful Life," is scheduled to attend the Columbus premiere of "Jimmy," a new biopic about her former co-star, on Oct. 16.

The event will take place at Lennox Town Center 24, 777 Kinnear Road. Tickets are on sale now.

Grimes was 6 when she played Zuzu in the 1946 film, delivering one of its best-known lines: "Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings."

Her visit comes as "It’s a Wonderful Life" approaches its 80th anniversary.

When is Karolyn Grimes appearing in Columbus?

The premiere’s event listing includes a live conversation with Grimes, actress Kara Killmer and the film’s producers.

For the listing’s 6:45 p.m. program, doors open at 6 p.m. for a red carpet and refreshments. The conversation begins at 6:45 p.m., followed by the movie at 7 p.m., according to the event listing.

Tickets are available through Phoenix Theatres.

What is the movie 'Jimmy' about?

Directed by Aaron Burns, "Jimmy" follows Stewart from his Academy Award-winning work in "The Philadelphia Story" through his World War II service as a combat pilot and his return to Hollywood to play George Bailey in "It’s a Wonderful Life."

KJ Apa stars as Stewart. Grimes also appears in the film's cast list.

The Columbus event offers an early look at the movie before its Nov. 6 theatrical release, according to the film’s official website.
