BRONX, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - The MLB playoffs start on Sept. 29, and the New York Yankees will host their archrival Boston Red Sox for the Wildcard round.
Sept. 29 is game one of the three game set at Yankee Stadium. The Bronx Bombers finished in second place in the AL East with a 93-68 record. Boston trailed behind in third place, finishing the year 87-75.

Cam Schlittler will be taking the mound for the Yanks and Payton Tolle for the Red Sox. First pitch is set for 8 p.m. and you can tune in on NBC.
