British rocker Yungblud just made quite the splash in Australia, and we’re not just talking about his music.

The 28-year-old singer was photographed nude aboard a yacht cruising Sydney Harbour on January 8, just two days before his sold-out show at Qudos Bank Arena. Talk about making an entrance Down Under.

The Doncaster native, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, was spotted enjoying a wild daytime bash with friends. According to reports, he was using strategic hand placement and a towel to maintain what little modesty he could muster.

His company for the day? Australian socialite and artist Dina Broadhurst, who lounged nearby in a pink bikini. The 50-year-old artist, known for her provocative photography, seemed pretty amused by the whole situation. Her boyfriend, millionaire John Winning Jr., also joined the party but kept things slightly more covered with a towel around his waist.

The photos quickly went viral on social media. Yungblud didn’t seem bothered by the attention at all. He took to social media ahead of his Saturday show, posting “Australia I’m back. Sydney I’ll see you tonight. I want you LOUD” along with some cheeky snaps from the yacht adventure.

Interestingly enough, the singer has been candid about his evolving fanbase. He’s noticed a demographic shift toward older fans. In a previous interview, he joked about this change, saying “I’m telling you, the older birds, they’re a bit more aggressive.”

Despite the bachelor-like party vibes, Yungblud is actually off the market. He recently rekindled his romance with longtime girlfriend Jesse Jo Stark, Cher’s goddaughter. The pair were spotted packing on the PDA during a beach getaway in St. Barts just days before the yacht incident.

The Sydney performance at Qudos Bank Arena represented a major upgrade from the originally planned venue. The show was part of his Australian tour dates, which also include stops in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth throughout late January.

In a recent Rolling Stone interview, he referenced Bowie’s creative philosophy, recalling “go completely the opposite way” when approaching new albums. That mindset seems to be guiding his latest musical direction.

The singer posted a picture of David Bowie to his Instagram Stories on the same day the yacht photos were captured. Clearly, he’s channeling that rock star energy in more ways than one.

Prior to his harbour adventure, Yungblud caused quite a scene at a pop-up gallery exhibition in Newtown. The event featuring tour photography drew such massive crowds that police were called to manage the situation. Hundreds of fans reportedly queued for hours just to catch a glimpse of the artist.

The Australian leg of his tour comes after a difficult end to 2025. Yungblud was forced to cancel several shows following medical advice related to vocal and blood tests. He acknowledged pushing himself too hard but confirmed the Australian dates would proceed as scheduled.
